Bachelor vet Ashley Iaconetti reveals how Tom Cruise inspired her (2024)

Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibonwelcomed their second child, a son named Hayden Cruise Haibon, on July 22.

And now the brunette beauty has talked to DailyMail.com about what it is like nesting with her baby.

The Bachelor In Paradiseveteran shared that she really enjoyed her first post partum meal, which was delivered by Grubhub right to the hospital.

'I had sushi, because I missed it so much,' Ashley told DailyMail.com. 'I went for tuna with spicy mayo. It was heaven.'

The looker also talked to DailyMail.com about how her son's middle name was inspired by Tom Cruise, whom she met last year, and if she will have another child.

Turns out Ashley has partnered with Grubhub this summer.

She has been having a blast with her new son.

His first name was inspired by Star Wars.

'First we joked that we would name him Anakin, but then we started talking about the actor who played Anakin - Hayden Christensen - and we liked it,' she added.

'I worried that Hayden Haibon would be awkward, but then it grew on us.'

And the Cruise part is from Tom Cruise.

She and her husband met the Mission: Impossible actor - who just did major stunts at the Olympic closing ceremony - last year.

'He was so engaged and passionate and warm,' cooed Ashley. 'Jared and I love all of his movies. Jared loves to quote Jerry Maguire. The movie is so perfectly done - it doesn't get old.'

Older brother Dawson is loving having a baby brother, Ashley also told DailyMail.com.

'He is doing so well, he loves having a baby in the house. The other day he came into the room and said, "Where's baby?" it was so cute. He says goodnight to Hayden every night and "I love you." It is very touching.'

As far as another baby? She says two is fine. 'It will only be these two for us. I always say, there are two parents, so two kids is perfect.'

The star is having fun in these early months of welcoming her second child. But she does plan to get back to the gym.

'I am going to do Pilates three times a week,' she shared. 'I used to do five times a week, but will do three for now.'

'He was born at 2:29 p.m. on July 22, 2024, and weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. at INOVA Fairfax Hospital,' the couple told People last month.

'Baby is healthy and so is Mama! Seeing Dawson meet his little brother for the first time was as precious as we always imagined the moment would be. Dawson is full of love and kept petting Hayden,' it was also shared.

Ashley and her husband tied the knot in 2019 before welcoming their first child together, son Dawson, in January 2022.

Dawson is named after Leonardo DiCaprio's character Jack Dawson in Titanic.

In February, they revealed the gender of their soon-to-arrive second child during anAmazon Livesession.

In the clip, the Bachelor vetand husband bit into a pair of cupcakes and revealed that they were expecting to welcome a second baby boy.

Iaconetti predicted that she was going to have another son just before the gender reveal, and she quipped: 'I thought it was going to be a boy before I was pregnant.'

Haibon then stated that he was excited about the prospect of starting a family-of-four, and he remarked that the 'idea that we're gonna have two boys is gonna be a lot of fun.'

The cast member ofThe Bachelor Winter Games went on to speak about how she had originally wanted a girl during her first pregnancy.

'It's funny because when it comes to gender disappointment, I had it so much worse with Dawson. We found out, and I was upset for a day or two,' she said.

Iaconetti added: 'I really actually do not even care what the combo is now, I just want them to be close.'

The couple announced that Ashley was pregnant with their second child during an Amazon Live session that took place this past January.

Their son Dawson wore an adorable 'Big Brother' T-shirt as his parents shared the joyous news.

'He's going to be a big brother!' Ashley gushed.

'You're going to be a big brother!' Jared exclaiming before sharing, 'Ashley's pregnant!'

'I'm pregnant!' Ashley chimed in, later adding she was 13 weeks into her pregnancy.

'We are a little concerned that he will be having some jealousy issues,' Ashley said during the live stream. 'He's been incredibly clingy lately.'
